The course is held over 2 days and provides a unique opportunity for the candidate to experience all aspects of wild deer management.  Book as an individual for one to one training or as part of a larger group (maximum 4 candidates).  Experience a day in the life of a deer manager from early morning until dusk.

You do not need to own a firearm or have any previous experience.

Topics include:

• Deer species and behaviour
• Deer law including firearms law
• Safety in both the field and larder
• Use of equipment
• Gralloching
• Weapon handling and zeroing

The course is a mixture of both practical and theory but there is no exam/test.  A certificate of attendance will be issued.

Duration:  2 days (length of days depends on the season)

Outcome:  A basic understanding of a wide range of wild deer management topics.

Certification:  A certificate of attendance is issued to each candidate.

No experience is necessary.
