The four-day course culminates in a day of examinations designed to test the candidate’s knowledge of the topics covered. In addition, a range test is conducted to ensure that the candidate is accurate and humane when using a deer caliber rifle.

Successful candidates will be awarded DSC Level One and are then able to register for the DSC Level Two portfolio.

Duration:  4 days

Outcome:  Candidates acquire a suitable level of knowledge to pass the DSC Level 1 criteria

Certification:  DSC Level One Certificate and LANTRA WGMHL2

Test:  Candidates will be assessed on both their theoretical and practical knowledge/ability.
