I have always wanted to stalk Chinese Water Deer and Muntjac but living in Devon doesn’t give me access to those species, so I booked a couple of days stalking with Mark at Wilddeeruk.
The shepherds hut was very comfortable, the stalking was superb and I was able to cull a couple of bucks, fortunately one made Bronze CIC standard. Having enjoyed my first trip so much I returned in March to cull Muntjac.
Once again the stalk was brilliant and I came away with another lovely representative buck.
On both trips I saw plenty of deer, had several opportunities and with Mark’s guidance felt completely at ease with the estate rifle. I can’t recommend booking an outing enough and have already got dates in the diary to return.
